I said that I'm diplomatic in most situations. However, I did state the following: people don't go to work to be at the receiving end of someone else's emotional problems. I said that if someone brings their emotional baggage to work, and launches it at other colleagues, it would be the responsibility of the manager(s) to address the issue with the person in question. A lot of employers may not have liked my frank answer, and I may not have been asked to return for a second interview. However, the managers who interviewed me considered my answer. They asked me to come back for a second interview, and eventually gave me the job. Furthermore, whilst working there, I didn't come across a single person who I would describe as rude or aggressive. Most people were in fact the exact opposite. Judging by the people who worked there, the managers did indeed have very good judgement of character.
