This company has crap interviewers & such people just want to make the company their breeding ground. I just wonder that if some 'Former Employee' says everything good or best in the review then why that person left, this reason also must be given. But surely like the fake reviews, reasons will also be fake.

Have them open up CMD (with instructions how to) then type in IPconfig. What is the IP address, etc etc.
I would talk the customer through opening a command prompt and type in ipconfig to reveals the up op address and gateway address, the instruct the how to ping the gate way up successfully then ping a url such as google if failed type nslookup to see where they fail and on this information I would have a better idea where the fault was also try ipconfig /flushdns

The simple answer would be they use frames to travel through the network. The complex answer would be since L 2 uses mac address to communicate with each other a source and destination MAC address is read from the frame and switch looks up the destination mac address in the MAC table if the MAC address is within switch table it will send the frame to the destination. If not then it will broadcast ( ARP ) to each port except the one from where the frame originated from and discover the MAC address that way. VLAN tagging is used to determine which interface to send the packet to. VLAN tagging is a process which can add the information of the VLAN in the packet header so in case a there is a disruption in the network the packet won't lose the information on which VLAN to send the packet to. It is basically used in a large network with proxy's involved. How DHCP work. D - Discover. O - Offer - R- Request. A - Acknowledge. A client sends a Discover packet to via DHCP services. DHCP server receives the discover packet look at its pool and Offer a DHCP message with IPv4 address in it. Client accepts the offer received from the DHCP server. DHCP server acknowledges the request and sends IPv4 address on the way to the client.
