CCTV JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Security Officer

Overview:

The Control room team in this high-profile location require good interpersonal oral communication skills. Successful candidates will be required to maintain a high level of personal appearance and be able to conduct themselves appropriately in a customer service role at all times. The ability to work as a team member and to support colleagues in the completion of their duties is essential within this role.

Place of Work:

The operation is based and operated from our remote-control room location in Preston and also offers progression for the right candidate upon future assessments. The position offers a competitive salary, and overtime at times.

Responsibilities:

• The position is for a part time operative working 2/3 shifts per week.
• Managing controlled access via Video Management platforms
• Monitor CCTV alerts.
• Provide a highly professional standard of customer care within the telephone service we provide to our clients in line with the security protocols required.
• Provide reports in a timely and professional manner.
• Liaise with the emergency services where applicable in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• SIA CCTV License (Nice to have)
• Must have experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have CCTV monitoring experience.
• Be Self Motivated and be able to use initiative.
• Flexible in their Approach to their Duties
• Have good communications skills.
• Have good interpersonal skills.

Rate of pay: Based on experience & successful completion of the probation.

Uniform: Full uniform provided.

Training: Full training provided.

Initiative:

Appropriate training will be given, on all aspects of the position advertised and as required.

Where a situation arises and no specific instructions have been issued which apply to it, member of the Security Team will be expected to use intelligence, imagination and discretion to ensure that it is dealt with satisfactorily.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
