Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Meat Cutter or Packer to join our food production team. This role involves preparing, processing, and packaging meat products in a safe and efficient manner. Also using bone saw to cut,The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Responsibilities

• Cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat according to specified standards and recipes
• Packaging meat products securely for distribution or retail sale
• Ensuring all meat is handled in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
• Maintaining cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment at all times
• Assisting with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage organisation
• Following health and safety procedures diligently to prevent contamination or accidents
• Collaborating with team members to meet production targets efficiently and accurately

Skills

• Experience in food production or culinary roles, particularly within butchery or meat processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices within a food manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
• Ability to operate specialised cutting equipment safely and effectively
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in handling products
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues effectively
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is important
