About you
We are looking for a strong character who is also able to work alongside his colleagues and motivate them to get the best out of the team. Able to delegate tasks and organise the workload whilst being happy to assist his team as and when needed.
Role and Responsibilities
You will ensure smooth operation working within a fast-paced manufacturing/warehousing operation. Focusing on ensuring all employees are hitting targets and the day to day duties of all employees are completed accordingly.
· Responsible for ensuring the quality of the product and service within the warehouse is operating at the highest possible standards
· Supervising a team of 12 to ensure they are always aware of their role and responsibilities
· Monitor Accurate picking process
· Supervise stock accuracy through PI (Perpetual inventory) checks and stock movement
· Prioritise work load in relation to vehicle departure schedules
· Work with the despatch manager to organise staffing levels to efficiently fulfil volume requirements
· Reporting any damage caused in the warehouse to the despatch manager immediately
· Completion of all paperwork required and system data
What you need
· Previous FLT experience
· Strong people management and leadership skills
· Knowledge of all Microsoft packages
· Experience of operating in a previous supervisory capacity ideally fast paced environment within warehousing
