Current Employee - Senior Software Engineer in Oulu (Finland)

I have been working at Arm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I started one and half years ago at ARM and I like it! The company treats engineers with high respect and offers competitive rewards and benefits. The IoT business unit I work for is doing truly full-stack development, from embedded to backend and web front and everything in-between so my skill set is almost guaranteed to stay future-proof.

Competent colleagues and the office location at the very center of Oulu don't hurt either. All in all, I very much enjoy my position as Software Engineer at ARM.

    Cons

The future of IoT business is uncertain, and the fast growing office brings in some challenges.

    Interview

The hiring process is rather thorough, you are being interviewed by all the internal stakeholders during telephone and local personal interviews. The hiring manager is interviewing first via phone. Then you get an invite for a local plus additionally you might get a call from HR if you being chosen for further rounds. The process in general takes rather long
