I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Audley Travel (Witney, England) in August 2018.
I applied for the role of Country Specialist at Audley Travel towards the end of July. The application process involved a personality test alongside submitting a CV and cover letter. Within two days I received an email from Audley Travel confirming a video-interview a few days later.
The video-interview consisted of 5/6 questions and gave you a bit of prep. time for each question. About a week later I emailed in to find out about the progress of my application and immediately received a response arranging an informal phone-interview/chat to raise any questions I had about the company and role. This was very useful as it allowed me to gather any further information about the company and also get a sense of the general atmosphere. The phone call lasted for about 40 minutes and at the end I was asked to provide any available dates I would be able to come to a face-to-face interview the following week. I was told I would get an email confirmation/interview information once this had been discussed with head office/management. Shortly after the phone call I received an email stating my interview date and time as promised.
My interview was at the Witney office in Oxfordshire in the first week of August. I was given instructions on where to go/what to bring and was told roughly who would be interviewing me. The interview at the offices consist of a 25 minute written task, approx 1 hour interview-style questions and a tour of the offices. When the tour ended I was told I would find out within the next week if I was successful or not. I was contacted a day later and offered the job.
Overall it was a very well-organised and pleasing experience. Every member of staff dealing with my application process was pleasant and welcoming, giving me a really positive impression of Audley as a whole. Very excited to start there in September!
