Employees rate Research Triangle Park 41.9% lower than the overall average
I have been working at BD as a contractor (Less than a year)
I like my mangers. They make my work easier and listen to my suggestions.
Work doesn't leave work. I am not expected to work evenings or weekends.
No 'blame-game' when something goes wrong.
Contract positions make up the majority of the work force at this location, coupled with the short contract lengths (6-12 months, maximum 2 years) means there is high turnover which causes information loss and low moral.
Advice to Management
Transition effective contract individuals to staff.

I applied online. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at BD (Research Triangle Park, NC (US)) in April 2016.
Incredibly unprofessional. Spent over 10 hours in formal interviews (phone and in person) and wasn't even notified of the position being either filled or cancelled. I understand not hearing back from phone screens, but when you go to an employer for a day long in person interview, they should have the decency to inform you of their final decision.
Applied online (Wednesday), contacted by recruiter the next day, phone call with recruiter following day (Friday). Phone call with hiring manager the next week (Tuesday). Then no contact for 3 weeks until setting up interview a month after phone screens. After interview, I was told 3 weeks likely until a decision. When I checked back in 3 weeks, I was told at least another month before a decision. At this point, we're at nearly 3 months from first contact with recruiter. Following up after this second month of waiting there has been no response to inquiries (monthly) and no notification of the position being filled or otherwise cancelled at 5 months from first contact.
