The hours, everyone's were cut in April, well the shops hours were cut not the area managers of course.
There Is NOT enough staff I'm any shop, to point you have to lock the shop just to pee.
The 5:30 finish, that half an hour is unpaid and God help you if you close at five because it's dead outside!
They give you an hour for lunch knowing full well you never get to use it because there's no staff.
The health and safety folder in all shops is years out of date.
Sunday trading is so unbelievably stupid we never even earn enough to pay me to be there.
You never get your time in leu
Holidays are a nightmare because with only to members of staff getting cover is horrendous and there's no support from the ABM
My particular ABM is the most useless rage inducing person you could ever meet
No upper management has a clue how to run the shops because they've never actually worked in one.
The till and card system is archaic, customers actually get really annoyed by how long the card machine takes.
But my biggest con is the administration, there's so much of it and it all has to be in put into the computers individually your given no extra time to do this so it has to be in your own time.
All the gift aid and every single item sold individually put in. It takes absolutely ages every week and I resent that I do it in my time.
Advice to Management
Get new tills and card machines, you'll have to at some point anyway.
Bring back some hours to each shop we are all struggling, close on Sundays and scrap that last stupid half and hour.
