Barnardo's Newcastle under Lyme, England isn't hiring right now. Check out all Barnardo's jobs
I have been working at Barnardo's part-time (Less than a year)
Free tea and coffee and maybe biscuits if your lucky, you can make friends with customers and volunteers, use you're initiative and past experience to try and show how good you are, you'll feel much cleverer than that shambles.
Ignored, overworked, underappreciated, actually don't bother trying to show how good you are they won't even acknowledge you, ignore any details about the job before you apply, it's lies, you become a dogsbody to everyone doing all their work whilst they sit doing nothing, they will take credit for any idea you have, they brag about past and current acheivements, think they are better you because they are rich, recent examples include one guy bragging he owns a merc sports car and a girl bragging she eats steaks worth £100, pathetic staff members, will drag you down, go elsewhere to work i beg you.
Advice to Management
Don't hire people with experience then let them go to waste, give staff freedom to make the shop work for the area it is located, stop hiring rich people with no knowledge in retail and especially charity retail.
