    Pros

Coupang is one of the fastest growing company in the world. I worked as a UX designer/researcher in their Seoul office. Great vision, team and compensation.

    Cons

    Internal politics, transparency and silos

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5+ weeks. I interviewed at Coupang (Seoul (South Korea)) in October 2015.

    Interview

Entered a room with a whiteboard, and a single interviewer. Handed a paper with question, and I had to read it and show my thought process, by saying and writing on the whiteboard. Need to know what cycle detections are, and some linked list stuff. basic search algorithms. It was a great experience, I just wasn't really well prepared.
