I have been working at EFI full-time (More than 8 years)
Great company to work for. Absolutely no heirachy in this company.. anyone can call and talk to the CEO. It's all about creating the premier product and services for the industry which makes it a fun and innovative place to work.
the lack of formality can create some confusion and lack of clarity.
Advice to Management
Keep up the great work! Communicate, communicate, communicate!

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at EFI (Pittsburgh, PA (US)) in February 2018.
I interviewed for a human resources position at the Pittsburgh office of EFI. I was pretty shocked that the gentleman interviewing me seemed very green and inexperienced. For example, he wasn't familiar with the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association or Society for Human Resources Management. Not a good look for EFI for its HR professionals to not be on top of major professional organizations! Worst of all, though, the interviewer asked me if I have children, and asked about my marital status. Any supervisor should know that those kinds of questions are off limits due to the potential discrimination landmine, but it's simply unconscionable for an HR professional to be asking those kinds of questions. Shame on EFI for putting this inexperienced interviewer in front of candidates and putting his company at risk.
