I have been working at FactSet as an intern (Less than a year)
Great coworkers, great work-life balance, they actively encourage you to leave your work at work and enjoy your evenings and weekends. Coming out of University where the expectation is to work until you drop and then work some more... this is a great company to transition to a more healthy relationship to work.
Your ability to communicate and reach out for help is a determining factor in how much you get out of the experience and if you lack this ability then you may struggle (not unique to FactSet though, but perhaps more pronounced)
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FactSet (New York, NY (US)) in February 2016.
Fairly standard. First I had a phone interview. Then I was supposed to have a video interview, but I was asked to go to their office for an in person interview.
