I have been working at Frank Recruitment Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I've been working for Nigel Frank for three years, starting as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and working up to a Manager position. I would have never been able to get that kind of progression or earn the kind of money I have if I would have gone for a grad scheme.

NFI gave me the opportunity of moving out to Dallas from the UK. Although the office is smaller at the moment, we are growing quickly and everyone in the office is allowed an opinion on what we need to do to improve. For a company to listen to new starters thoughts and concerns, listen and take action is a very positive thing.

Senior management in Dallas actually care about your personal career growth and progression. They take the time to listen, offer constructive criticism and help you improve - rather than throwing you in the deep end and hope you perform towards targets.

    Cons

    - Some people may not like working till 6.30pm
    - Old CRM system.
    - Holiday incentives are absolutely amazing but would prefer less fancy incentives with more spaces.
    - As a new office, the first 6 months are really hard for Trainee's but just as rewarding as other offices.

    Advice to Management

Keep growing and changing in the positive way that you are at the moment.

I'm enjoying being part of a company and office that cares about the employee's thoughts and feelings. Make sure that all management are moving with the changes, like they are in Dallas.

Consider looking at incentives that are different for US and UK employees, so more people can get onto them. As we grow, the incentives we currently have are getting to be an unrealistic goal for TRC and RC's purely due to the amount of places.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Frank Recruitment Group (Dallas, TX (US)) in November 2017.

    Interview

Very straightforward three step interview process. I was reached out to by a recruiter via LinkedIn, had a 30 minutes phone screen then scheduled an in person interview with two managers. It was a pretty straightforward and casual interview in the BEAUTIFUL all glass office in Ross Tower. I was blown away by the building itself and the atmosphere of the office. I was quickly reached out to by the recruiter to set up a third interview which included a presentation. Very straightforward and quick process. They know what they want and will not waste your time if you don't fit the mold.
