I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5+ weeks. I interviewed at GlaxoSmithKline (Ware, England) in February 2015.
recruiter, oak tests, interview and offer. after that screening. Interview was in their premises and hiring manager with a senior engineer involved. They are asking competency based questions and taking notes.
