I have been working at Immunocore full-time (Less than a year)
Pros
Great atmosphere, little perks make so much difference, good family/wellbeing policies due for an exciting major expansion in the company
Cons
Hard work, but enjoyable to go to work... Lab hours can be restrictive but it helps keep different departments communicating
Advice to Management
Maybe an emergency care program for dependents (adult care/emergency childcare)

Application
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Immunocore (Didcot, England) in July 2016.
Interview
Met with the Head of Department and a Senior Scientist.
Discussed my previous experience - my undergraduate modules, my industry work and my PhD research.
Talked about why I was specifically interested in Immunocore and their new technologies
Explained the job role and how my lab-based skills would fit
I asked about my lack of Immunology background being an issue - was assured that it wasn't a problem
