I have been working at Japan Tobacco International full-time (More than 8 years)

Caring company, smart people, friendly team and approachable management. Truly open door policy. Good salary and benefits, higher than most of other companies in the market. Good HR practices, big focus on people development. Good opportunities for career progression, locally and Globally. Generally, excellent company to work in and to learn in.

As any big company, a bit bureaucratic and slow.
There are great policies on flexible working time, work from home, but it seems people are not at ease to use them lately.

    Advice to Management

Be demanding to results, but do not forget about work-life balance.

    Difficult Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Japan Tobacco International (Belgrade (Serbia)) in September 2017.

First you apply online by uploading your resume, then if you pass you have a telephone interview where the lady from HR asked you some stuff about yourself, and check your knowledge of English (they don't worn you in any way when they are going to call you). Then they send you on email numerical and verbal reasoning tests. If you pass that than you have one-on-one interview with the same lady from HR where she asked to describe situations when you have difficulties... And after that an excel test. If you pass that too, you have an interview with line manager. And if they like you you'll get a proposal.
