Pros
The overall culture is one of excellence - and it shows in everything that people do. You are always aware that others will be reiewing (and perhaps referencing) your work - so it breeds a desire to excel. The cuture is also an open one - that encourages people to share knowledge and where hiding knowledge is regarded as a bad thing. It's a fun, dynamic place to work that offers a whole host of challenging projects
Cons
It's a competative environment - so it's no place for shrinking violets ! The work life balance was non-existant, something that I believe has been addressed recently. Of course it has its share of politics - but then every place does.
Advice to Management
Invest in your KM systems - knowledge sharing is good - but there is always room for improvement. Sharing data across borders can be to difficult sometimes
