I have been working at Milwaukee Tool full-time (More than 3 years)
Culture, pay, benefits, support. The projects are exciting and vary, there are opportunities to move around. They don't micro-manange.
You have a lot of freedom, and since the projects are exciting and the culture is infectious, it's easy to work a lot of extra hours. It's not required, but it tends to "happen" as an engineer working on cool stuff with a company that gives you the tools you need, it's easy to get sucked into the work.
While the benefits are great, the Rx coverage is geared toward a younger crowd (since they are mostly young), so you might have to go through hoops if you have typical "older people" Rx needs. Not a huge deal, just extra step.s
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work. Continue giving us the tools to succeed, and having the guts to keep swining for the fences1
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Milwaukee Tool (Brookfield, WI (US)) in June 2021.
Went through two rounds of interviews, one over the phone with HR, the second over zoom. The second round consisted of three 30-45 minute interviews. The employees seemed nice and professional, asked basic interview questions. After I was told that they you get back to me within a week or two. Unfortunately I was never contacted again, even after I reached out.
