    Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Nationwide Building Society (Bournemouth, England) in May 2019.

    Interview

Applied online, invited to an interview at which I needed to do a presentation and competency based interview. I also had to complete some testing online beforehand which was quite a negative experience and the tests are regarded as being a poor gauge of someones ability.

In the interview, they expected every answer to be in the STAR methodology, rather than just answering the question more naturally.

The interviewers themselves were nice and encouraged me through the questions and I left with a very positive feeling, however I then had to wait two weeks to hear back which felt far too long when it is a job you really want.
