    I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver James (Manchester City Centre, England) in August 2017.

    Interview

    The process began with a phone interview with the HR department to gauge suitability for the role. I was initially told that the interview would be in three stages:1. initial meeting and discussion of experience 2. Competency based questions and task 3. Meeting with the directors. However, this was later shortened to just two parts as a director was present for the second interview.
    Th first stage was very straightforward, and consisted of a brief overview of the company, a discussion of my CV and a few general interview questions.
    The second stage began with a discussion of the task (marketing plan and design ideas) that had been sent to me prior to the interview. This was then followed with some marketing specific questions. I then met with a director which was basically a 'get-to-know-you' chat and relatively informal.
