I have been working at Oxford University Press as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent exposure to the educational services industry. Very open and friendly staff in a bilingual officespace. Flexible working day. Opportunities to get involved in meaningful work are widespread if you have the confidence to approach people.

    Cons

Work/life balance is non-existent as an intern. The office is far from the centre of Madrid making it a long commute for many employees.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oxford University Press (Madrid (Spain)) in June 2016.

    Interview

At OUP Spain, there were two interviews one via skype with HR and head of department via video, another in person and an online capabilities test. It felt very comfortable and easy-going.
