Pros
The best thing about Prox is the people, i've made some great friends that I love seeing outside of work too. There's always someone to talk to, have lunch with, willing to help you out. In other agencies, pitching is a horrible time, but at Prox it seems that as the pressure builds, so does the comradery. The level of talent and skill on all levels is impressive and it only makes you want to do better work. Plus everyone is aware you are working your guts out and is appreciative of it. Aside from work, there are lots of social activities, bowling, workshops, softball, Bootcamp, Omniwomen to name a few. It feels like there's always a lot going on and all you have to do is put your hand up to get amongst.
Cons
Not enough reward for hard work, especially on pitches. Bonuses would be nice. Or being invited to agency events, i.e. DMA's, Cannes. Design is often left out of this sort of thing as we are not client facing.
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work! Putting the people first, keeping work fun, wellbeing initiatives are great and social activities. Just make sure everyone is recognized and rewarded for their hard work, otherwise, there is less drive to put in the hard work the next time.
