I have been working at Red Bee Media full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people, lovely bunch. Good communication across teams.

    Cons

Big bosses out to make money, despite this being a public service which shouldn't be for profit.

    Advice to Management

More focus on resolving on going tech issues which would increase productivity rather than honing in on minute details of stats and cutting prep times.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Red Bee Media (Glasgow, Scotland) in October 2018.

    Interview

The interview involved three computer based subtitling tests - one correcting mistakes in a file and two re-speaking tests, where you listen to a file (usually an old news broadcast) and simultaneously re-speak it into the microphone. These are evaluated before you continue to the interview - which was about 1hr 45mins long and involved standard interview questions about experience and reasons for applying, etc.
