I have been working at Red Hat full-time (More than a year)
Great place to work based on meritocracy. People are amazing, smart and challenging. You get to work on the best open source projects out there.
The whole company is pretty transparent, no silo, and you can talk to people without having any sense of hierarchy. A lot of trust, nobody is going to manage you on a daily basis and tell you what to do if you know what to do.
It can be hard for some people to work in such a place where most of the time you're not told what to do.
