I worked at Reed Exhibitions as a contractor (Less than a year)
- Supportive and encouraging leadership
- Friendly coworkers
- Great work/life balance
- No micromanaging: my manager created opportunities for me to grow my skills and was happy to provide coaching/guidance when needed
- Onsite cafeteria
In summary, I had the opportunity to do the kind of job I love while working with people who create a friendly, caring, and respectful environment. I believe those are the 2 biggest things that made my experience at Reed a positive one!
No cons! I truly had a great experience working at Reed.
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Reed Exhibitions (Norwalk, CT (US)) in January 2011.
Reed hires slowly. You will have to go through at least 5 interviews before an offer is presented or you hear back from them. HR is knowledgable and courteous. Expect to be brought into the office 2-4 times for separate interviews. Research the company, the trade show industry and their individual portfolio of shows on their corporate site before interviewing.
Flexible on vacation. Ask for 3 weeks.
