I worked at Robert Walters full-time (Less than a year)

My team was brilliant, passionate, and extremely tight. It seemed like we always had each others' back and didn't try to steal jobs away from one another.

At the end of the day, it's a sales job. You're always chasing numbers. As a third-party service provider, you don't actually get to know how your clients and candidates are getting along. If you prefer working on standalone projects and not having a lot of say in the companies you work with, being a third-party recruiter is perfect for you.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Robert Walters (Taipei (Taiwan)) in March 2017.

Received a phone call from the country manager two weeks after applying online. Talked briefly through the phone, then scheduled an onsite interview with the manager.
We talked for around 30 minutes for the onsite interview. Questions basically came from what's written on my resume. The manager also helped me clarify differences between an HR role and recruitment consultant.
Overall, I enjoyed the whole interview process very much. The country manager could tell I am not yet qualified for the role of recruitment consultant, yet he took time to speak with me, so it has truly been an honor for me to have this interview.
