I worked at SThree full-time (More than a year)
SThree is an excellent place to work. The family culture and supportive working environment made it a pleasure to come to work everyday. The people that SThree hire are a credit to the company and are really valued by people at all levels. Working for SThree has provided me with a massive stepping stone in my career and allowed me to grow and develop different skillsets from day one. They are very inclusive and collaborative company and always had time to help you progress everyday. The managers act like your friends and counterparts rather than building a hierarchy and this really shapes the company culture and values that SThree possess. I feel like I am leaving family behind and the decision did not come easily when I decided to leave. If you join SThree, be reassured you have a bright future ahead of you if you work hard and have the determination to succeed.
I don't really have any cons to add to this company as I genuinely didn't have a bad experience. I suppose if I was to nit pick I would say that the base salary could be a little higher to get things moving as everyone progresses at a different pace and if you are motivated by money this could be something to think about.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you are doing and keep up the positive family culture that was so evident from day one. I wish the company all the best for the future.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SThree (Dublin, Co. Dublin (Ireland)) in December 2015.
Applied online through an ad on linkedin. The next day I was contacted by the internal recruiter where I had a half an hour interview with him and then he told me he wanted me to do some market research and he would call me back the next day. The next day he called me and was happy to put me through to a first round interview. Interview was relaxed and asked why recruiting and wanted to know about my CV. Got a call from the internal recruiter the next day saying they would like to do a final round interview. Recruiter sent me a lot of info to be prepared for the interview. Second interview consisted of a role play (1 hour) with two managers, a work sample (1.5 hours) cold calling candidates and finally a presentation (1.5 hours) with three people. The whole interview process is extremely professional and everyone who interviewed me was very very nice and made the interview experience comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. They are there to see if the job is for you and you are for the company, not to make you feel uncomfortable or nervous. The interview itself, the role play was quite difficult and intense. eg. (you have to sell a client your services) the cold calling is fine just trying to build a rapport and extract information from them and the presentation is fine as you are given lots of information and time to prepare your presentation during the days before you go in for the interview. My overall experience was excellent from the internal recruiter to everyone who I met in the office and interviewed me.
