I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Sky (Edinburgh, Scotland).
I applied via their site, and about a week later I got an email regarding setting up a phone interview. I had recently gotten a UK number so I responded to the email and kindly requested that they use the number I just gave them. I was told to go change it on my profile, but was never told what profile. When I went to Skys website and found something I could consider a profile, the only thing I could see there was what I had applied for. Then it took almost a month to get the interview scheduled. And on the day of the interview I never received a call. Later I got an email where they essentially blamed me for that, even though I had, in several emails at this point, made sure to give them the correct number. I was told they would reschedule it once and if I didn't respond next time, that the offer would go away. It took almost another month to get that information. When I finally had the interview it was with the most horribly bored and uninterested person ever, who made the whole thing feel much more stressful. No personality or friendliness. He was just there to ask me questions and be done with it.
Horrible communication between the job searcher and sky recruitment.
