I worked at TSB Bank part-time (More than a year)
Very attractive pay starting as a customer adviser
Good holiday scheme
Friendly and helpful co workers
Constantly shifting goalposts when it comes to sorting out issues
Customer aggression due to employee and bank incompetence
Unsociable working hours
Not much opportunity to progress career
Management can occasionally be unwilling to help
Advice to Management
Find a way to do things and stick to it - nobody's more angry than the people having to deal with angry customers because of some silly change you've made as a bank. Come down harder on employees that incorrectly deal with a problem customer because it's not fair for other people to clean up someone's mess.
Find a way to help people progress in their career.
Other than that, TSB was an awesome place to work. I was in a great team and we helped each other a lot.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at TSB Bank (Swansea, Wales) in September 2016.
Applied for TSB online. 2 days later I had a call informing me that they would like to have a quick telephone interview, I was successful and interviewed face to face 2 days later. The face to face interview consisted of competency based questions and a role playing exercise of being on the phone to a customer answering a query. They phoned me 4 days later to inform me that I had been successful and to inform me of my start date. Amazing interview process, the girls I interviewed with were so laid back and hilarious, we spent most of the interview crying laughing. Best interview I've ever been to.
