I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Taylor Wimpey (Cannock, England) in January 2016.
I felt fairly positive about the company during the recruitment process which is application, talk with HR Partner, psychometric testing, chat on the phone with the Divisional Director and then face to face slightly structured interview. Felt the whole experience was very positive and I was impressed with the company. But sadly and this isn't sour grapes for not being successful, (if isn't meant to be don't sweat about it is my ethos) they didnt have the courtesy to let me know I hadnt been successful. I think that is poor for any company and for any level of vacancy but for a Head of role I think that is very discourteous. As a result it has changed my view of what I thought was a people friendly organisation, maybe not after all. In my view you have to sell your organisation to the applicant not just them impressing you. Never know they may be suitable for another position but if this is how you are treated post interview then I would think very seriously about applying again now.
