I have been working at Virtual College full-time (More than 3 years)
An absolute sense of identity and a clear vision.
The people - despite being a cliche, Virtual College is a success because of the drive, innovation and motivation of it's people.
Like anywhere Virtual College has it's challenges but because the leadership team are so clear on the vision people are happy go the extra mile to overcome any frustration.
After leaving Virtual College and following an open and honest discussion I was welcomed back to the company with not one ounce of hesitation - Virtual College could have made this situation very awkward but they chose not to - not something that happens every day!
I can only say this because I've had the luxury of leaving and coming back but it's clear some people don't know what they've got until it's gone - I certainly experienced this.
Apart from that and the expected frustration of working in such a rapidly growing organisation there's nothing that springs to mind.
Advice to Management
