I have been working at Voyage Care full-time (More than 10 years)
I have worked for voyage for 12 years, along the way I have been supported and developed and am currently a service manager. person centred care is at the forefront of the service I manage and the other services within the Scottish portfolio. not only do I lead a staff team that are dedicated, caring and compassionate I also feel I am line managed by an operations manager that shares the passion and drive to maintain and improve the quality of care the individuals residing in Scottish services deserve. voyage Is a large company, but this ensures that there is a support network readily available for advice and guidance. Having read some very negative reviews I can honestly say working from a nurse to deputy to then service manager, I do not share the same experience. if you are passionate, hard working and dedicated to care there is opportunity within voyage to develop and flourish.
any issues that arise I can talk through with my line manager and head office in order for things to be rectified quickly.
Advice to Management
the operations manager Andrew Sharp within the Scottish portfolio is very supportive and involved with the services, I cannot offer any advice to operations as I honestly am provided with intense support and guidance as are all the Scottish services to my knowledge.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Voyage Care (Dumfries, Scotland) in March 2019.
The process was really good went for the interview the got a call within the week offering me the job. The pvg checks took a little but longer than expected
