I have been working at Voyage Care full-time (More than 3 years)
You meet new and interesting people all the time whilst working with people who quickly become friends. Over all brilliant work environments.
Management could be more supportive, less blame game and less expectation of us as support workers doing more than we are qualified or experienced for.
Advice to Management
Please listen to what is being said and reported back from the people working underneath you, although you do a great job, you have more power to make changes needed that we do not have the power or the resources to do to better support our individuals.

I applied online. I interviewed at Voyage Care (Hereford, England) in November 2013.
The job I interviewed for was far more different than the job I did daily... I believe they didn't tell me the true extent of challenging behaviour I was to witness and to provide support for. I felt that I wasn't fully informed of what was expected of me or what I could expect from working with autism.
