I worked at Voyage Care full-time (More than 5 years)
Fantastic manager, will always accommodate where possible, shows understanding and empathy.
Real person centered care.
Fantastic supportive living environment, beautiful location and setting.
A big struggle to recruit good staff due to money and location of service, and then to keep them.
Wages don't reflect the hard work some of the staff do.
Advice to Management
Recognise good staff, praise where praise is due.
Reflect long service in bonus even if it's a additional annual leave day.
Additional pay for overtime and bank holidays.
Help the service managers, when they are supposed to keep up to date with everything , training and be on rota.
