I have been working at Wise full-time (Less than a year)
The engineering teams at Wise are empowered to make all sort of decision, they are always on the driver seat when it comes to product development and the roadmap. If you care about a cause/pain-point or whatsoever nobody can stop you from owning it and solving it (this is true even for non-engineering functions). Teams and people are very nice to work with and are respectful which makes collaborating a breeze. I think it's one of the best places for the people who want to own their career as you've complete autonomy over it.
Autonomy comes with responsibilities, you might initially find it hard to see the lines between the ownership of different functions, essentially a side-effect of autonomous teams, but with enough time/practice it's not that hard to get hold of.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wise (Singapore (Singapore)) in May 2021.
I applied online through LinkedIn, got a response within 3 days that I have moved on to the 2nd round which is a video interview, powered by Hirevue, which includes 5 questions which you have to record your response on video, and 3 email that you have to craft your response to. After that, I got a reply within 2 working days that I made it to the final round, which is a 1 hour interview via zoom with the team lead. The meeting was scheduled for a week later. After the interview, I was told that I would get a reply within a week, be it whether I got the job or not. In the end, I got a response in about 24 hours, with an offer letter.
