I have been working at A-Plan Insurance full-time (More than a year)

I work with people who care about what they do and work hard to look after our clients. My manager is very supportive of my career development and encouraged me to pass my Cert CII.

Saturday mornings, but we have a rota.

    Difficult Interview

I applied online. I interviewed at A-Plan Insurance (Bournemouth, England) in July 2015.

Went for an interview here a few years ago, I didn't say anything at the time because I felt embarrassed and ashamed about the way I allowed them to treat me. Now being a few years older, with more experience, I feel like it is important for me to share my experience.

They like to employ mainly, blonde, attractive women. I got the feeling that the managers have tried to make it into their ideal little men's club.
Before going in for interview, waiting in the office, I was handed a pathetic little piece of paper with a numeracy test on and expected to complete it there with a pencil. I found this very insulting to my professionalism, as well as demonstrative of how unprofessional they were as employers.
Finally, when called into the office, I was interviewed by one of the arrogant managers, who seemed like he was interrogating me in a 'jovial' manner, I felt as though I wasn't being taken seriously or being treated equally as a young female. He then said, in short, that he would not be employing me and he knew that when he saw my C.V, but wanted 'to meet me anyway'.
I felt like my time had been wasted, I hadn't been treated with respect, and I felt humiliated.
I think the company is managed by men with little boy mentalities, who think it's an opportunity to create their own little sexist paradise.
    Sleazy and awful.
