    Pros

Felt like a dynamic and scrappy tech company despite being within the Amazon umbrella.

    Cons

Unique cultural institutions were dissolved over the last half of my employment there. A new leader was installed who was working with very aggressive corporate directives to purge established leadership.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at A9.com (Palo Alto, CA (US)).

    Interview

Had 2 phone screens and then on onsite. Onsite consisted of 5 interviews. Most of the interviewers focused on Machine Learning concepts with only 1 or 2 coding related questions overall.

    Interview Questions

    • The interviewers are smart but super nice too. The questions aren't too difficult if your ML fundamentals are clear (incase you're unsure you'll find out yourself after the interview). Coding questions were easy-medium (harder side of medium) level.   Answer Question
