I have been working at AAA Club Alliance part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Constant available overtime
    School reimbursement
    Free premier membership
    Friendly environment

very easy job to learn and the main applications are modern and easyto use

    Cons

    Constant high call volume
Agents basically fight to just make sure there isn't a long hold time for members
difficult metrics to excel especially if you wear more than one hat.
decent pay but be could be more. especially with growing responsibility

on top of dealing with anxious and stressed members the alliance club covers 11 states and 7 of the top 50 major cities, such as Philly, Baltimore, Indianapolis, D.C., Oklahoma city etc, so you'll be talking with members the whole day. slow days are rare.

    Advice to Management

Every desk needs two screens. some dont

constant update and list of phone numbers and networks for agents

strengthen GPS location. sometimes it's James bond accurate other times it's in the wrong state.

keep employees upbeat happy so they can make the members happy

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at AAA Club Alliance (West Chester, PA (US)) in December 2016.

    Interview

I contacted their recruiter after receiving an e-mail from them. They responded and set up an interview for me. It was a convenient time for me to interview. The recruiter was helpful.

Batman, Del. governor want to stop distracted driving

The Delaware governor is hoping a famous superhero will help deter drivers, especially teenagers, from using their cell phones on the road. Governor Jack Markell enlisted the Caped Crusader - Batman - himself to star in a video about safe driving. Recently, Markell signed a law doubling the fines for drivers caught using a handheld device while driving.
