I have been working at AccessPay full-time (More than a year)
Flexibility, great team, brilliant people. This job allows me to share and exercise my passion for coding as well as giving me the work life balance to look after my daughter. Everyone goes above and beyond here because they want to, I love it.
This is a growing firm so it’s making a transition from small to medium sized company, so for someone used to a large firm with processes everywhere this might feel a bit disorientating. All it actually means is that currently you have the ability to have an active say in how you think things should be done.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you’re doing!
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AccessPay (Manchester City Centre, England) in August 2018.
2-Step Interview Process. 1. An initial telephone interview with the Service Desk Manager involving a few competency based questions and a general discussion about the role/company and my experience. 2. Subject to a successful telephone interview, an invite for a face-to-face interview, also with the Service Desk Manger and the Service Delivery Manager. The Service Delivery Director also took the opportunity to meet me for a short period at the end of the interview process. The interview was conducted in a relaxed environment and I was made to feel very welcome. Caron, Hannah and Sonia staged a very good interview that flowed well and had the right balance between competency based questions and general discussion about the role and my experience. I received feedback on my interview within 48 hours. The process was coordinated by Laura (HR Advisor) who kept me up to date throughout the whole process. Despite an unsuccessful application for the role, I've been left with a very positive impression of Accesspay thanks to the aforementioned team.
