I have been working at Admiral Recruitment full-time (Less than a year)
I have been working with Admiral for a month under Anna Griffiths who is heading up the new luxury retail sector. I have joined to focus on luxury beauty.
Since joining I have already had two fantastic training days. I am new to recruitment and Anna is training me step by step.
I had a brief spell at a recruitment company 5 years ago and was given a cold desk and was expected to start billing. At Admiral they give you time and really teach you and give you the tools that you need.
The company have a fantastic ethos, the owner Paula Rogers really cares about making a difference to the world and encourages us all to take part in charitable work.
MD Robin Hancox is also implementing fantastic changes and is completely on the ball when it comes to moving with the times.
So far I am loving my time here and know that they will train me to become a great recruiter.
There are no cons as far as I can see so far.
The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Admiral Recruitment.
Telephone screening and then followed by a face to face interview.
Before the interview started the interviewer was 10mins late and didn't apologize - right from the start I didn't feel that they valued my time.
During the face to face interview they only cared about how much I billed rather then getting to know me as a person or even tried to sell me the company or the role. As a result I didn'take my application further.
