Mission: Our drive and passion for the values spoused by our Founder, and enshrined in the ethos of Almac, ensures that ‘Partnering to Advance Human Health’ is more than just a strapline – it is our way of life.
Advancing human health ...
I have been working at Almac Group full-time (More than 10 years)
Working on a variety of projects to develop new therapies and make a difference to patients around the world; continuous learning and opportunities for development; working alongside dedicated experienced staff who share knowledge readily, job satisfaction of meeting client requirements and deadlines; great team-working environment and a good atmosphere
I don't think there are really any specific cons associated with working at Almac. No two days are the same, which means working here is both interesting and motivating.
Advice to Management
Keep engaging with staff as you already do and have done over the years- the Almac 'family' is behind you.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Almac Group (Craigavon, Northern Ireland) in November 2017.
Very welcoming, made you feel at ease. Asked me about myself, interests. Showed like they cared. Did wait for over an hour though before being seen. Apologised to me in fairness and they did look busy.
N. Ireland Blood Transfusion Service were onsite at our Craigavon facility recently. This vital service was fully booked from the announcement went out to our employees. On the day 65 blood donations were made and 7 new organ donors were registered.
