Long working hours
No formal training in the Ops manager role
HR policies for absence management need to be stronger due to poor HR software.
Advice to Management
Review working hours as the culture is to work really long hours and it comes as a expectation. Need to focus mix between home and work life... more focus towards internal customer obsession
I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (London, England).
Leadership competency focused 45 min long phone interviews for round 1 and 2, followed by a day in house with 6/7 back to back interviews / tests.
Long convoluted questions which they seem to have a specific answer they want to hear.
Not very warm or professional. Confusing questions and jumped down my throat mid answer. Not somewhere I would want to work.
