    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at Aston University.

    Interview

Application process went smoothly, communication was good. Interview was fine - a computer based test followed by standard interview and informal meeting with potential colleagues. I was informed of the panel's decision within 72 hours.

Feedback was provided about 24 hours after initial request. I was told I interviewed reasonably well, but was unsuccessful due to an experience requirement, which was vague in the job description but should have ruled me out at shortlist had it been explicit.
