-Medium sized company, so opportunities to build working relationships across all areas and tiers in he hierarchy
-Good comfortable working space, positive, focused environment
-Even mix of new and long serving employees
-Decent benefits package
-Salaries above average for market
-Management who do try to listen to less senior employees
-A bit too much focus on cost cutting at times
-Progression and opportunities to move across to other areas of the business is quite difficult

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BMJ (London, England) in October 2016.
There was a first selection of candidates based on CV and cover letter. Then a test was sent by email to all shortlisted candidates to assess organisational and editorial skills/experience. After the test I was invited to a panel interview with the Editor in Chief and Publisher of the journal.
