The company has a great reputation and is competitive.
Very slow to take on change. Hierarchy too long for approvals. Teams are in silos making information flow hard. Pay system could do with a shake up.
Working from home seemed frowned upon which in this modern arena needs to change.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BMJ (London, England) in October 2016.
There was a first selection of candidates based on CV and cover letter. Then a test was sent by email to all shortlisted candidates to assess organisational and editorial skills/experience. After the test I was invited to a panel interview with the Editor in Chief and Publisher of the journal.
