I worked at BUCA full-time
Not much to share as far as positives go.
Others may have had better experiences as a Paisano, but mine was overly challenging. I went and entire year without a chef or staff manager, this led to very long hours and an unbearable work load. The issue I had was that my superiors' workload was incredible as well and no real focus or effort was adequate to lighten my burden. Eventually I became burned out and sought employment elsewhere. A positive note is that since my departure they have restructured their upper management allowing for more attention to stores. Also open 365 a year, very difficult around the holidays, if you have children.
I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at BUCA.
Online questionnaire then a phone interview with a recruiter. Then had a phone interview with the Divisional Vice President. Then had an in person interview with the Divisional Vice President. Then had a phone interview with the Senior Divisional Vice President. After which I was sent an offer of employment.
