I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Back Market.
Interview
I received an email to schedule a phone interview. After my phone interview, I was given the opportunity to skype the manager in France (which is the original location). After the Skype interview went well, I met with the manager in the Williamsburg location. I was told I would hear back within a few days. I followed up wanting to know the status. I was told I would hear back Monday or Tuesday the latest. Again, I don’t hear back from them. When I finally hear back Thursday (today) I was told I wasn’t given the position because I don’t have management experience. Mind you that was not a requirement. I found this experience frustrating and inconsistent. I was given numerous timelines of when I would hear back from the company and never received an email or notice. Don’t waste someone’s time by giving them false hope. If you say you’re gonna email someone a certain day or time l, DO IT. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. This company clearly doesn’t care about potential employees and lacks common decency.
