I worked at Badoo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Perks - pretty much everything that you can think of, hard to find other companies in London to offer you the same. Few of them are private medical and dental insurances, all day meals provided in the office, kitchen full with snacks and drinks, and many more ... my personal favourite one was the daily 5 min massage at your desk.

Team - the design team is a strategic part of the product and company. There are a lot of design challenges to solve as the apps are always progressing and evolving. You can expect to work with some very smart and talented people which really helps to push your boundaries. In addition to all of the perks I've mentioned above there are also a lot of design specific ones to help you grow and learn - fully covered local and international conferences, training budget which you can use for courses or books, and of course the amazing design team builds.

Company - fast moving environment where people work hard and are passionate about what they do. You have the freedom to work on the stuff you enjoy more and have a real impact on the product.

    Cons

Fast moving - sometimes this can be a bit overwhelming, management moves from one idea to another.

Career growth - I believe the company can do a better job here.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent with people in lower levels. Communicate more the vision and product direction.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Badoo (London, England) in November 2016.

    Interview

4 slow paced interviewswith no feedback whatsoever, it was very time consuming and I believe the interview process should be streamlined further and reduce unwanted screeening Group screening was quite good with lots of questions thrown at you, it takes atleas 4 hours overall once you are on site.
