Mission: At Banana Republic, how we do it is just as important as what we do. We value people who are confident, optimistic and curious, because we believe in unleashing creativity and greatness every day.
I worked at Banana Republic part-time
Management team was on point. They knew how to give constructive feedback in a respectful manner and always praised successes as well.
Found it difficult to live off the part-time pay. I know their minimum pay is higher than other companies, but still not enough to live comfortably.
Advice to Management
Make sure all leaders are on the same page with processes and procedures. Sometimes it was confusing when one manager said one thing and another manager did things a different way.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Banana Republic (London, England) in February 2015.
The first stage was a telephone interview 15-20min
asking the reason for your interest in the brand etc...
The Final stage was a group interview.I was with 5 other candidates.
We had drawing activities and made an outfit each from the new collection.
We discussed the brand and the values
And the current celebrities brand Ambassadors
there was no negotiation phase.
