I have been working at Beds and Bars full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Staff benefits and rewards. Ability to stand out from a crowd with emphasis on individuality and room for growth of personal goals. I feel supported when needed.

    Cons

Work life balance can be difficult but not unlike any other hospitality job. You get out what you put in.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Beds and Bars.

    Interview

an invite to an interview 4 weeks after several e-mails back and forth.
Turned out to just be an informal discussion about the role and to find out about me.
Went well, produced a report on what I could bring to the job.
2nd telephone interview with HR - Who asked the below atrocious question!! Despite this it went well and was told to expect a call inviting me to meet a Director, which would be the final stage. The phone call never came and a week later an email from the original interviewer advised my job application was unsuccesful.
    No courtesy of a call
2 months for the courtesy of no phone call
No explanation offered why the interview process advances to you will meet with a Director to application rejection.
Very unsavoury process and I worry for the existing staff there such was the unprofessional behaviour of senior staff. Bullet dodged !! Avoid Avoid Avoid
